About Us
Life Explained is an independent Pakistani information website that explains government and citizen services in simple, practical language. We started it because finding one clear answer about a CNIC fee, a B-Form requirement or a passport renewal step often means reading five different websites — and many of them are outdated or copied from each other.
What we cover
- NADRA services — Smart CNIC renewal, B-Form (CRC), FRC, tracking and corrections
- Passport services — online renewal, fees and delivery
- BISP — 8171 eligibility, payments and registration
- FBR — becoming a filer, IRIS and ATL status
- PTA — SIM checks, IMEI verification and device registration
Who writes the guides
The guides are written and reviewed by Faisal, a Pakistan-based digital publisher and university student who has gone through many of these processes himself. Each article is based on the official portal of the relevant department and, where possible, on first-hand experience of the process.
Our editorial standards
- Fees, timelines and eligibility rules are taken from official government sources.
- Each guide shows a "last updated" date, and we revise articles when rules change.
- We clearly separate facts from tips and never promise results that only a department can decide.
- We do not collect CNIC numbers, passwords or OTP codes, and we do not charge for any government service.

We are not affiliated with any government department. The site is supported by advertising, which never influences the information we publish. If you spot a mistake, please contact us — corrections are our top priority.
