Electricity Bill Check Online 2026: LESCO, MEPCO, IESCO, FESCO & All DISCOs (Duplicate Bill)

Quick answer

To check your electricity bill online, open the official PITC web bill page (bill.pitc.com.pk), select your company such as LESCO, MEPCO or IESCO, and enter the 14-digit reference number printed on an old bill (digits only). Karachi users check K-Electric bills on ke.com.pk with their account number. You can view, print and pay the duplicate bill without any fee.

Lost your bijli ka bill, or it never arrived? You do not need to visit the WAPDA/DISCO office. An electricity bill check online takes less than a minute on the official web bill service run by the Power Information Technology Company (PITC), and the printed duplicate bill is accepted by banks and mobile wallets for payment. This guide covers every distribution company (DISCO), how to find your reference number, and how to pay.

Which electricity company (DISCO) serves your area?

CompanyMain areas
LESCOLahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura
GEPCOGujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal
FESCOFaisalabad, Sargodha, Jhang, Mianwali
IESCOIslamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal
MEPCOMultan, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sahiwal
PESCOPeshawar, Mardan, Swat and other KP districts
HAZECOAbbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur (Hazara division)
TESCOMerged tribal districts of KP
HESCOHyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas
SEPCOSukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad
QESCOQuetta and most of Balochistan
K-ElectricKarachi and nearby areas (private company, separate system)

The company name is printed at the top of your bill. If you are unsure, the first letters of the web bill link on the old bill (for example "lescobill") also tell you.

Find your 14-digit reference number

The reference number is printed near the top of every electricity bill, usually in groups such as 12 34567 8901234. For the online check:

  • Type the 14 digits only — no spaces or dashes.
  • If a letter such as U or R appears after the number, leave it out.
  • Do not confuse it with the Customer ID, which is a separate, shorter number on the same bill.

No old bill? Ask your landlord or neighbour for a photo of their bill (it shows the same sub-division), or call your DISCO helpline 118 with the meter number and address. Save a photo of every bill on your phone so you never lose the reference number again.

How to do an electricity bill check online (all DISCOs)

  1. Open the official web bill page at bill.pitc.com.pk. Only use this official PITC address — many look-alike sites show heavy ads or outdated data.
  2. Select your company (LESCO, MEPCO, IESCO, FESCO, GEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, TESCO or HAZECO).
  3. Enter the 14-digit reference number and press search.
  4. View the bill: current amount, due date, amount after due date, units consumed and the last 12 months' history.
  5. Print or save as PDF using your browser's print option. The printed duplicate bill can be paid at a bank branch.

K-Electric bill check (Karachi)

K-Electric is not part of the PITC system. Karachi consumers check their bill on the official K-Electric website ke.com.pk or the KE Live app using the account number printed on the bill (usually 13 digits starting with 04). K-Electric's helpline is 118 and it also offers WhatsApp self-service on 0348-0000118.

How to pay your electricity bill

MethodHow

ATMMany 1LINK ATMs support utility bill payment

Online payments usually update on the DISCO system within one or two working days. Keep the payment receipt or SMS until the next bill shows the amount as paid.

Understanding the main parts of your bill

  • Units consumed: the difference between the present and previous meter reading. Check the meter picture (printed on many bills) to confirm the reading.
  • Due date and late payment surcharge (LPS): paying after the due date adds a surcharge — pay a few days early because online payments can take time to post.
  • Taxes: bills include GST, electricity duty and other levies. Bills above certain amounts can also include advance income tax, which is higher for people who are not on FBR's Active Taxpayer List — check your filer status.
  • Protected vs non-protected category: domestic consumers using low units consistently get lower rates. Crossing the limit in any month can change your category, so compare the history table before summer.

Wrong reading or excess bill? How to complain

  1. Take a clear photo of your meter showing the current reading and meter number.
  2. Compare it with the "present reading" on the bill.
  3. Call 118 or visit your sub-division office with the bill and the photo, and ask for bill correction before the due date.
  4. If the issue is not resolved, you can file a complaint with the power regulator NEPRA through its online complaint system.

Scam alert: Nobody can "reduce" your bill or remove arrears for a fee through WhatsApp. Pay only through official channels, and never share your CNIC or bank OTP with anyone who calls about your bill.

Gas bill missing too? See our guide on SNGPL and SSGC gas bill check online. A new connection or name change on a meter usually needs a valid CNIC, and BISP also checks high electricity bills when deciding 8171 eligibility.
