NADRA Office Timing 2026: Working Hours, Friday, Saturday & 24/7 Mega Centres
Quick answer
NADRA office timing depends on the centre type. Most regular NADRA Registration Centres open Monday to Friday in the morning and close in the afternoon, with a shorter Friday. Six-day centres also open on Saturday, double-shift centres stay open into the evening, and Mega Centres in big cities work 24/7.

Nothing is more frustrating than reaching a NADRA office after a long journey only to find the token counter closed. The truth is that NADRA office timing is not the same everywhere. NADRA runs different kinds of centres — five-day, six-day, double-shift and 24/7 Mega Centres — and each has its own hours. This guide explains each type, the Friday and Saturday rules, the Ramadan schedule NADRA announced in 2026, and how to confirm the timing of the centre nearest to you before you leave home.
NADRA office timing 2026 at a glance
NADRA groups its Registration Centres (NRCs) by the number of days and shifts they work. The table below shows the usual pattern. Exact opening and closing times can differ by 30 to 60 minutes between cities, so always confirm your centre (see the last section).
| Centre type | Working days | Typical hours |
|---|---|---|
| Five-day centre (most common) | Monday to Friday | Morning to afternoon (roughly 8/9 am to 4/5 pm), shorter on Friday |
| Six-day centre | Monday to Saturday | Same daytime hours, plus Saturday |
| Double-shift centre | Monday to Saturday | Morning shift + evening shift |
| Mega Centre | All 7 days | 24 hours (morning, evening and night shifts) |
| NADRA helpline 1777 | All 7 days | 24/7 |
Note: Token issuing usually stops before the official closing time so staff can finish the queue. Reach the centre at least 1 to 2 hours before closing, and much earlier at busy city centres.
NADRA Friday timing
On Friday, NADRA centres work a shorter day because of the Jummah prayer break. In NADRA's official Ramadan 2026 schedule, for example, five-day and six-day centres closed at 12:30 pm on Friday instead of the usual weekday time, and double-shift and Mega Centres restarted their evening shift at 2:00 pm. Outside Ramadan the Friday break follows the same idea: plan to finish your work before the Jummah break or come back in the evening shift if your centre has one.
Is NADRA open on Saturday and Sunday?
- Saturday: only six-day, double-shift and Mega Centres are open. Most regular five-day centres are closed.
- Sunday: only Mega Centres are open. Regular centres are closed.
- Public holidays: regular centres close on gazetted holidays (Eid, 14 August, etc.). Mega Centres normally continue, but NADRA sometimes announces special holiday schedules, so check first.
NADRA Mega Centres: open 24 hours
Mega Centres are large NADRA offices in major cities that work round the clock in three shifts. They are the best choice if you work during the day, need urgent or executive service, or want a shorter queue late at night. Well-known Mega Centres include:
- Karachi: NADRA Provincial Headquarters (MACHS), DHA, North Nazimabad, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Liaquatabad, Malir and SITE (Siemens)
- Lahore: NADRA Mega Centre Lahore
- Islamabad / Rawalpindi and other large cities also have Mega Centres
Tip: The night shift (roughly 9:30 pm to 2:30 am in NADRA's 2026 Ramadan schedule) is usually the least crowded time at a Mega Centre. Some services may be limited at night, so call 1777 to confirm what you need is available.

How to find the nearest NADRA office and its timing
- Use NADRA's centre locator: the official NADRA website has a Find Nearest NRC option that lists centres by city with their type.
- Search Google Maps for "NADRA office near me" and read the most recent reviews — people often mention closing and token times.
- Call the helpline on 1777 (mobile) or 051-111-786-100 and ask for the timing of a specific centre. See our NADRA helpline number guide.
- Check before public holidays and Ramadan, when timings change.
Skip the office: services you can do online
Many people visit NADRA for work that can now be done from home with the Pak ID app:
- CNIC renewal online — biometrics and photo through the phone camera
- CNIC tracking — SMS your tracking ID to 8400
- FRC (Family Registration Certificate) — apply online
- B-Form — many cases can be processed on Pak ID
You still need to visit a centre for a first-time CNIC, if your fingerprints fail on the app, or if NADRA asks for physical verification.
Tips for a quick NADRA visit
- Arrive 30 to 60 minutes before opening at busy centres.
- Carry your old CNIC, B-Form or FRC, and original documents plus photocopies.
- For a minor or a first CNIC, take a blood relative (parent) with their original CNIC for biometric verification.
- Choose Executive category at Executive or Mega Centres if you need the card fast — the fees are listed in our CNIC renewal guide.

Urdu mein khulasa
NADRA office ki timing centre ki qisam par depend karti hai. Aam five-day centres Monday se Friday subah se dopahar/sham tak khulte hain aur Friday ko Jummah ki wajah se jaldi band ho jate hain. Six-day aur double-shift centres Saturday ko bhi khulte hain, jabke Mega Centres 24 ghante, saaton din khule rehte hain. Sunday ko sirf Mega Centres khulte hain. Jane se pehle 1777 par call karke apne qareebi centre ki timing confirm kar lein, aur token band hone se kam az kam 1-2 ghante pehle pohnchein.
